• Lana Vejzovic Wilson is the Director and Founder of LVW Beauty Clinic and LVW Beauty Academy, established in 2009.

  With more than 14 years of experience as a Permanent Makeup and Semi-Permanent Tattoo Artist, Lana has built a reputation for excellence within the beauty industry.

  She has received multiple respected awards, including:

  • 1st Place – Training Academy of the Year 2019/2020

  • 1st Place – Makeup Artist of the Year 2022

  • 1st Place – Training Academy of the Year 2025

  My Story

  If you don’t know me, my name is Lana. I was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and my life was shaped at a very young age by the Bosnian War. I was only eight years old when the war began, and the siege of Sarajevo forced my family and thousands of others into fear, loss, and survival.

  Before the war, my childhood was full of joy—family gatherings, weekends in Blagaj, and winter ski trips to Jahorina. Overnight, everything changed. The city became encircled, civilians were targeted, and children like me spent years hiding in cold cellars during shelling, dreaming of simple things like chocolate and fresh fruit. Many children lost their lives; many more lost their childhoods.

  Growing up in a war zone forces you to mature far too early. Even after the conflict ends, its impact lingers across generations. My family and I arrived in England in 1994, searching for safety and a new beginning. My own journey—full of hardship, resilience, and healing—became my greatest teacher.

  I went from being unconfident and limited by self-doubt to building an authentic and loving relationship with myself. Today, my mission is to help others do the same. No matter where you come from or what you’ve been through, change is possible if you are willing.

  I founded LVW Beauty 16 years ago during a recession, armed only with determination, passion, and a dream to help others feel their best. Despite the challenges, LVW has grown into a highly respected clinic known for exceptional results, natural artistry, and outstanding client care.

  Most of my clients now come through referrals—something I’m incredibly proud of, as it reflects the trust and high standards that LVW stands for.

  LVW Academy

  In 2014, I launched LVW Academy to share my knowledge with others entering the beauty industry. Knowing firsthand how difficult it is to start from scratch, I wanted to make the journey easier for aspiring artists.

  Today, my students come from all backgrounds—nurses, accountants, mothers—and 98% return for further training, which speaks volumes about the confidence and value they find at LVW.

  At LVW Academy, students only receive certification when they consistently demonstrate the high standards LVW is known for. I provide as many practice sessions as needed, followed by case studies, ensuring each artist is genuinely ready.

  I’ve helped countless students not only train, but also build successful businesses—guiding them with honesty, experience, and genuine care. Winning Training Academy of the Year in both 2019/2020 and 2025 reaffirmed the dedication I pour into my training.

  Giving Back

  Beyond the clinic and academy, I work closely with charities and clients who have experienced trauma, including:

  • Cancer patients

  • Alopecia clients

  • Individuals undergoing chemotherapy

  I have provided areola restoration, scar camouflage, and brow treatments free of charge to many clients in need. I have also supported charities such as the Midlands Air Ambulance by donating treatments for auction.

  Helping people regain confidence after trauma is one of the most meaningful parts of my work.

  Continual Growth & New Ventures

  During the first lockdown, I launched two new ventures:

  • A supplier business offering my own permanent makeup products

  • A qualification in life coaching and inner child therapy, which began as a personal healing journey and evolved into coaching women to rebuild confidence and overcome childhood trauma

  I’ve always been a go-getter. Even when certain business ventures didn’t work out, I used every setback as a lesson. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come.

  I never stop learning. I regularly attend permanent makeup masterclasses and healing workshops to refine my expertise and expand my knowledge.

  Since launching LVW’s permanent and semi-permanent makeup courses in 2014, I’ve helped shape the next generation of artists and technicians—empowering them to build rewarding careers with confidence, skill, and authenticity. My work continues to be featured widely online.
